Case Aide Supervisor

Job Summary
- Primarily responsible for providing case assignments direct supervision guidance and support to Case Aides ensuring their adherence to agency policies and best practices ensuring follow through and appropriate communication and documentation occurs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee the recruitment hiring and training processes for program staff ensuring the development of a skilled and dedicated team.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting maintaining meticulous records of case progress incidents and interventions. Collaborate with community resources and agencies to enhance support services available to clients and Case Aides.
- Maintain tracking of assignments and scheduled visits ensuring accurate and corresponding documentation.
- Ensure scheduling and logistic information is provided and all required visits are completed safely.
- Provides regular supervision with corresponding documentation and professional development of staff.
- Conducts team meetings on a weekly basis.
- May provide oversight of the Initial Clothing and Equipment
- Monitors the quality and quantity of case aide services provided by the case aides.
- May work evenings weekends and occasional holidays. Willingness to travel through high-risk communities as needed.
- Maintains and conveys knowledge of car seat safety protocol and regulatory requirements to staff.
- Works effectively with other supervisors to assure the orderly transfer to cases into the Home and Relative/Traditional Foster Care Unit.
- Appropriately communicate with all members of the child welfare team and respond in a timely manner.
- Provide timely approval of expense reimbursements timecards and overtime requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to drive ones own vehicle and transport children youth and adults as needed.
- Demonstrated organizational ability and Demonstrated scheduling and logistics experience.
- Excellent communication skills and development of team building.

- Understanding of child welfare practices policies and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in utilizing relevant software and technology for case management.

Maintain confidentiality of client staff and agency information. Reports any known or suspected breaches of confidentiality in accordance with policy. Reports possible misconduct or relevant errors/ oversight in a timely manner and responsibly addresses related issues with chain of command.
- Communication/ Interpersonal Skills: Consistently conveys clear accurate timely and respectful communication appropriate for the situation. Informs appropriate management staff when incident occurs or a crisis situation. Maintains professional boundaries with clients/residents staff interns volunteers and vendors. Able to successfully share skills and concepts with others and works effectively with others under time and environmental pressures.
- Safety and Agency Resource Utilization: Demonstrates sound judgement and foresight in safety awareness and in daily work. Notifies in a timely manner the supervisory chain of any incidents or circumstances that need attention. Report all suspicions or allegations of abuse immediately to their supervisor. Ensures appropriate utilization of materials and resources and minimizes waste.
