The Opportunity

Greenwich House is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Case Aide to join our Caregiver Program team. This role plays a vital part in supporting The Caregiver Program in Brooklyn ensuring compliance supporting client engagement and serving as a key partner to staff. The Caregiver case aide will perform administrative tasks support with outreach and is responsible for pre-screening calls; arranging services and reopening cases of clients to the Caregiver Services program.


Responsibilities

Assist Program Director with tracking and documenting respite and supplemental services.

Follows up with clients regarding receipt of supplemental services.

Conducts follow up calls with clients to ensure connection with program.

Attends in-service training and staff meetings.

Assists with program outreach as assigned.

Explains and interprets the agencys programs and types of assistance available to callers; provides information and assistance.

Uses computer to prepare letters flyers reports etc.

Assembles collates and records statistical data.

Regular and ongoing communication with social workers.

Assists with and compiles monthly statistics and reports.

Performs other related tasks as requested or assigned.

What Youll Bring

BSW or other related BA in human services of family practice/gerontology or an associates degree in a related field with one years experience.

Good communication skills.

Must be computer literate including ability to learn and use program-specific software.

Good writing/recording skills.

Ability to read write speak and understand English.

Knowledge of Spanish Russian helpful.

May require heavy lifting including setting up tables moving chairs and other room set-ups for programs climbing stairs may be required.

Schedule: 35 hours/week Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Caregiver Program Director

Union Representation: Non-Union


Salary Range

The annual base salary for this position is $50000 which is the hourly equivalent of $27.47. This rate reflects the offered compensation at the time of promotion and may be adjusted based on experience education and organizational needs.
