Overview of the RoleThe position is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work that includes construction repair and remodeling of structures and facilities. Work is carried out in accordance with established standards and best practices of the carpentry trade ensuring quality craftsmanship safety and durability. Tasks may involve interpreting blueprints selecting appropriate materials and completing projects efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship. - Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience or training in the carpentry trade.

- Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Performs general carpentry work involved with the repair alteration or maintenance of buildings and all related structures.
- Builds or repairs shelves cabinets windows furniture concrete forms trim ceilings and partitions.
- Prepares vacant units to be re-rented; assists with replacing interior doors door locks and hinges door jambs and trim; re-screens windows and doors; replaces broken window panes etc.
Appointment Type:Probational - up to 24 months
