Responsibilities

This position will build maintain and repair structures made of wood plywood wallboard and other related items within the property.  

• Maintain and repair all structures made of wood including cabinets bed frames doors chairs chair crown molding and furniture.  
• Assess property needs and create products as required.  
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames floorings and trim or hardware.  
• Frame out walls and set door frames.  
• Participate in show and production fabrication as directed by the Chief Engineer or the Engineering Manager.  
• Maintain a clean work environment and proper upkeep of all company tools.  
• Comply with OSHA regulations Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  
• Minimum of three years carpentry experience and or equivalent experience required.  
• Experience as a Finished Carpenter preferred.  
• Working knowledge of all tools commonly used in carpentry shop required.  
• Ability to read and understand technical literature and blueprints required.  
• Valid Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record required. 
• Material Handling Equipment certification as required.

Wage Information

The hourly rate for this position is $31.93
