Youll provide one-on-one support to Children and Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities helping them build confidence gain independence and achieve goals they never thought possible. We are currently hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals in Wake Forest and Wake County areas! Evening and weekend hours currently available in Wake Forest! Other part-time shifts also available throughout Wake County.
What Youll Do
Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
Provide encouragement mentorship and meaningful companionship
Support personal care needs including dressing and grooming
Transport clients to appointments errands and community outings
Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible
Pay & Schedule
- $16 per hour
- Weekly pay

What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
- Interest in teaching life skills to promote and encourage independence
- Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Behavioral Technician (BT) Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistanthighly preferred but not required
