What Youll Do As an In-Home Caregiver you will provide essential non-medical support to help our Veteran client maintain comfort safety independence and daily routine at home.
- Personal Care & Mobility: Assist client with transfers mobility support (wheelchair care) and personal care routines.
- Pet Care Assistance: Help care for the clients 4 dogs (feeding letting them out light pet care support).
- Daily Support: Assist with medication reminders meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Companionship: Provide empathetic attentive and respectful companionship.
- Maintain open reliable communication with our administrative team.
Position Requirements
- Age & Education: Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Dog-Friendly: Must be comfortable and happy working in a home with 4 dogs.
- Transportation: Valid drivers license reliable personal vehicle and active car insurance.
- Character: A genuinely caring heart for Veterans seniors and individuals with disabilities paired with strong reliability and attention to detail.
Hours for this Wamego placement are case-dependent (TBD) with strong potential for expanded hours or additional local client placements as care needs grow.
