Weekend Caregiver All Levels of Care

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee WI and surrounding areas
Schedule: Weekend Shifts Available (Saturday & Sunday)
Job Type: Part-time

Looking for a rewarding weekend opportunity Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is hiring compassionate and dependable Weekend Caregivers to provide quality in-home care for seniors and adults with varying care needs. Whether you have experience with companion care or advanced personal care youll play an important role in helping clients remain safe comfortable and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal hygiene bathing dressing and grooming
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
Complete light housekeeping laundry and household organization
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan
Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using Hoyer lifts gait belts sit-to-stand lifts and other transfer equipment as needed
Transport clients to appointments errands or community activities
Observe changes in clients condition and communicate concerns to the care team
Promote a safe clean and comfortable home environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in caregiving home care or personal care is preferred but not required
Valid drivers license and reliable insured vehicle required
Ability to provide care for clients with a wide range of physical and personal care needs
Comfortable working in homes with cats dogs and other household pets
Comfortable caring for clients who smoke
Experience with Hoyer lifts and other mobility equipment is a plus
Dependable compassionate and committed to providing exceptional client care
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
