At BAYADA youll work one-on-one in the home and community settings as a Special Needs Caregiver / DSP for Adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities to help them reach their full potential! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who has ever worked as anRegistered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Behavioral Technician (BT) Paraprofessional Teacher/ Teaching Assistant or anyone who loves caring and supporting others as they work towards their goals!

BAYADA is urgently hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers throughout Lancaster County including: LancasterManheimElizabethtownLandisvilleMountvilleWillow StreetNew ProvidenceLeolaNew HollandEphrata and other towns throughout Lancaster County PA!

Job Responsibilities for Special Needs - Caregiver - DSP :
- You will provide personal care assistance (dressing grooming)
- You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
- You will spend time on the clients favorite hobbies and activities
- You will assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation
- You will participate in community integration activities
Qualifications for Special Needs - Caregiver - DSP:
- One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience training may be available through our apprentice program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation with the ability to transport clients to and from appointments errands or outings
- Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Behavioral Technician (BT) Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant is highly preferred but not required
