REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC in Cardiothoracic Surgery (ABTS or ABS)
Licenses: Active Idaho License
Active DEA Certification
Certifications: ACLS BLS
Experience: Completion of ACGME/AOA residency and CT fellowship
Other Qualifications: Clean background no malpractice history ability to obtain privileges
Must be available to cover significant shifts between 10/12-11/2

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG valve repair/replacement aortic dissection repair
Perform general thoracic surgeries including thoracotomy lung resections pneumonectomy tube thoracostomy
Manage VA and VV ECMO placement and management
Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage for cardiothoracic emergencies
Collaborate with APPs perfusionists and OR staff to ensure high-quality patient care
