Position: Cardiology NP / PA / RN ATTR Clinical Consultant
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80$120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 1020 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review patient charts to assess the likelihood of ATTR cardiac amyloidosis even with incomplete information.
• Identify clinical signals including patient history and diagnostic findings like PYP scans.
• Document evidence-based reasoning distinguish ATTR from similar conditions and maintain labeling standards.
• Refine assessments based on new evidence and AI model feedback. Explain clinical decisions to technical teams and meet labeling deadlines.
• Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• NP RN or PA with 5 years of cardiology-focused experience.
• 13 years of experience in a Heart Failure or ATTR-specific clinic.
• Experience evaluating or managing suspected or confirmed ATTR cardiomyopathy including PYP scans.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to explain decisions clearly.
• Able to commit 1020 hours per week.

Preferred

• Experience at an amyloidosis center of excellence or cardiomyopathy clinic.
• Contributions to ATTR-related research or publications.
• Experience with AI/ML teams clinical decision-support systems or clinical chart abstraction and labeling.
