As a Cardiac Sonographer I at MercyOne Genesis you will:
- Provide safe effective and culturally-competent care for newborn through aging adult patientsundergoing echocardiography testing and/or procedures
- Acquire ultrasound images evaluate tests using critical thinking and evidence based practice
- Process echocardiography studies for physician interpretation for structured reporting in adherence to American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines
- Active participation inquality monitoring and performance improvement activities in an ICAEL accredited facility
Schedule:
- 6:30a - 5:00p
- 8 hour shifts
- 38 hours per week
- Rotating weekends
- Rotating holidays
- Rotating on call
General Requirements:
- 2 year Cardiac Ultrasound college program or equivalent experience
- Previous pediatric through adult experience in cardiac ultrasound TAVR experience preferred
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registryeligible and must get registered within 1 year of accepting position.
