Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Cardiology Department at Baptist Clay Hospital in Jacksonville Florida. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer you will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.
• Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.
• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintaining equipment documenting procedures accurately and adhering to department protocols and quality standards.

Cardiac Echo Sonographer Diagnostic Cardiology Department Experience;

• 1-2 Years of Cardiac Sonographer Experience

Experience Requirements:

• Adult Echo credentials through either ARDMS or CCI are required within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients families and clinical teams.
• Previous experience in cardiac sonography preferred but not required we provide a supportive environment for growth and learning.
