Job Summary
Capital Projects Manager
Role OverviewAs a Capital Projects Manager you will lead and manage technical projects within an automotive manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for defining scope developing Statements of Work (SOWs) managing vendor interactions and ensuring successful deployment of new tooling equipment and process improvements that align with plant standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project objectives capacity targets and validation requirements.

Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) including requirements specifications deliverables timelines and acceptance criteria.

Review and refine SOWs with cross functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment.

Manage the quotation process with external suppliers/integrators acting as the technical liaison.

Evaluate vendor proposals for feasibility compliance and alignment with plant standards.

Finalize concepts oversee testing validation and deployment of solutions.

Lead negotiations with vendors to optimize scope cost and technical solutions.

Support vendor selection to ensure solutions meet technical operational financial and timeline requirements.

Prepare and present weekly project status updates to key stakeholders.

Ensure all projects adhere to the companys operating model and highest quality standards.

Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience: 10 years in manufacturing engineering with proven capital project management experience.
