Location: Dallas TX

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid onsite 23 days/week

• Pay Rate: $80.00$85.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM MondayFriday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (possible OT)

This is a Software Developer and technical support role to support the Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM) team within GBME Fixed Income US in Dallas. The focus will be on the integration between the upstream and downstream systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about MCM and about commercial real estate finance.

• 9 years of experience designing developing deploying and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations (experience with modern programming languages such as Java and/or Python; developing and consuming Web Services and APIs)
• 7 years of experience with data technologies and databases including one or more of the following: PostgreSQL Microsoft SQL Server Oracle Apache NiFi Apache Kafka Elasticsearch with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets (experience writing reading and executing SQL scripts)
• 2 years of experience with front-end technologies including Angular React and JavaScript
• 5 years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Maven Gradle and Jenkins
• 4 years of experience working with cloud platforms preferably GCP and Kubernetes
• 4 years of experience with test automation (includes SRE monitoring and synthetic monitoring)
• 2 years of experience with SSRS Reporting and PowerBI
• Communication skills
• Strong team player

• Previous experience working in mortgage capital markets
• Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as Tidal or Airflow
• Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace for performance monitoring troubleshooting and incident analysis
• Experience working in an Agile environment with a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• 9 years of experience designing developing deploying and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations
• 7 years of experience with data technologies and databases
• 5 years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools
• 4 years of experience working with cloud platforms
• 4 years of experience with test automation
• 2 years of experience with front-end technologies
• 2 years of experience with SSRS Reporting and PowerBI

• Previous experience working in mortgage capital markets
• Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as Tidal or Airflow
• Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace

• Interview process: 2 rounds plus a technical assessment prior to the 1st interview
• A coding/technical assessment will be sent to selected candidates; candidates must complete it prior to the 2nd round in-person interview
• 1st round: HM IT Manager 1 hour Teams Video technical/design-related questions
• 2nd round: Business Team IT Manager 1.5 hours in-person technical questions
