Position Overview
Yong Clinic is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Cantonese-Speaking Physician Assistant (PA) to provide clinical care and support physicians in evaluating diagnosing and managing patients healthcare needs. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills excellent communication abilities and fluency in Cantonese and English to serve the clinics diverse patient population.

Position Overview
Yong Clinic is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Cantonese-Speaking Physician Assistant (PA) to provide clinical care and support physicians in evaluating diagnosing and managing patients healthcare needs. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills excellent communication abilities and fluency in Cantonese and English to serve the clinics diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain patient medical histories conduct physical examinations and assess overall health.
- Evaluate and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions within the PAs scope of practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising or collaborating physicians as applicable.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies within the providers authorized scope of practice.
- Prescribe medications and provide treatment recommendations in accordance with applicable New York State regulations.
- Monitor patient progress evaluate treatment effectiveness and coordinate follow-up care.
- Educate patients about diagnoses medications preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Communicate medical information treatment options and follow-up instructions in Cantonese and English.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license and applicable certification or eligibility to obtain the required credentials.
- Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.
- Previous clinical experience in primary care or an outpatient medical setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate culturally sensitive patient-centered care.
- Annual compensation of $150000$200000 depending on experience qualifications and the final compensation structure.
