Salary: $69337- $97071 Annually
Coordinate and oversee campus systems that promote student success through proactive intervention Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) behavior management attendance improvement academic monitoring and family engagement. The Student Success Coordinator collaborates with administrators counselors teachers families and community agencies to identify barriers to student success and implement interventions that improve academic achievement attendance behavior and graduation outcomes.
- Masters degree preferred or actively pursuing a Masters degree in Educational Leadership Counseling Social Work or related field
- Valid Texas teaching certificate required
- Texas Principal Certification preferred or actively pursuing certification
- Advanced Educational Leadership (AEL) Instructional Leadership Training (ILT) or similar leadership training preferred
- Strong understanding of MTSS and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Knowledge of restorative practices and positive behavior interventions
- Knowledge of attendance laws and intervention strategies
- Knowledge of student discipline procedures and the Texas Student Code of Conduct
- Ability to analyze student data to identify trends and develop intervention plans
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and student support systems
- Excellent organizational communication conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with students families staff and community agencies
- Ability to facilitate meetings and provide professional development
- Proficient in student information systems and Microsoft Office/Google applications
- Minimum three years successful teaching experience
- Experience serving students in at-risk populations preferred
- Experience with behavior intervention MTSS counseling attendance or campus leadership preferred
- Coordinate and facilitate the campus Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process.
- Lead Tier II and Tier III intervention meetings.
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and recommend adjustments based on student data.
- Develop campus intervention systems focused on improving attendance behavior and academic performance.
- Coordinate intervention plans for students identified as academically or behaviorally at risk.
- Collaborate with counselors teachers administrators and support staff to ensure interventions are implemented with fidelity.
- Coordinate campus behavior support systems that promote positive student behavior.
- Assist administrators with behavior intervention planning and implementation.
- Facilitate restorative conferences and behavior intervention meetings.
- Monitor behavior data and identify trends requiring campus-wide interventions.
- Develop and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) when appropriate.
- Support teachers with classroom management strategies and behavior interventions.
- Coordinate and provide adequate supervision of students.
- Provide input to develop a student management system that results in positive student behavior.
- Conduct conferences with parents students and teachers concerning school and student issues as requested by the principal.
- Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and discipline is appropriate and equitable.
- Present for students a positive role model that supports the mission of the campus.
- Assist with student discipline investigations and documentation as assigned.
- Monitor daily attendance trends and identify students requiring intervention.
- Coordinate attendance intervention meetings with students and families.
- Work collaboratively with campus attendance personnel and district staff to reduce chronic absenteeism.
- Develop attendance improvement plans for identified students.
- Coordinate home visits and parent conferences when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation of attendance interventions.
- Monitor student grades credits assessment performance graduation progress and intervention data.
- Coordinate academic support plans for students experiencing academic difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers counselors and intervention staff to ensure students receive appropriate academic support.
- Identify students at risk of course failure or retention and coordinate intervention efforts.
- Monitor progress of students receiving interventions and communicate outcomes to campus leadership.
- Build positive partnerships with parents and families.
- Serve as a liaison between school home and community agencies.
- Coordinate parent conferences related to attendance behavior and academic concerns.
- Develop parent education opportunities that support student success.
- Connect families with community resources to address barriers to learning.
- Promote family engagement through proactive communication and outreach.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Campus Improvement Plan.
- Analyze campus data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Participate in campus leadership meetings.
- Assist with campus supervision during arrival dismissal lunches passing periods and extracurricular events.
- Assist administrators in maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Coordinate campus recognition programs that reinforce positive behavior and student achievement.
- Provide professional development related to MTSS behavior management attendance improvement and student engagement.
- Coach teachers on intervention strategies and classroom supports.
- Collaborate with instructional staff to remove barriers to student learning.
- Assist with implementation of campus behavior expectations.
- Promote the campus mission and vision to students families and the community.
- Develop collaborative relationships with community organizations that provide student and family support services.
- Participate in community engagement activities.
- Represent the campus in meetings related to student services.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
- Comply with district policies and state and federal regulations.
- Demonstrate professionalism integrity and ethical conduct.
- Participate in professional learning to remain current on MTSS attendance behavior and student support practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
May supervise assigned paraprofessionals intervention staff or other personnel as designated by the Principal.
