Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls addressing client inquiries regarding billing schedules service status and account administration.
  • Utilize specialized call center platforms to log interactions update customer records and track the status of issue resolution.
  • Access complex utility databases to provide accurate information on energy rates power outages and planned maintenance schedules.
  • De-escalate tense situations through strategic communication techniques and empathetic problem-solving strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to escalate technical issues or billing discrepancies for immediate rectification.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies safety protocols and industry-specific regulatory compliance standards.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all client interactions to ensure data integrity and uninterrupted service delivery.
Requirements
  • Possess one to three years of prior experience in a call center or general customer service environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using call center management tools and standard office productivity software.
  • Exhibit superior verbal communication skills capable of articulating complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Show considerable patience adaptability and resilience when navigating difficult or challenging customer scenarios.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and a proactive solution-oriented mindset in all work situations.
  • Be available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends to satisfy operational requirements.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; certifications in customer service or utility management are a plus.
