Job Summary

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Calibration Technician in Orlando FL for an approximately one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will calibrate test adjust maintain and repair a variety of optical electronic mechanical and electromechanical measuring and test equipment.

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; no degree required.

  • 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working with and measuring optics.

  • Experience with test and measurement calibration tools including interferometers autocollimators optical alignment scopes IR equipment oscilloscopes RF generators and digital multimeters (DMM).

  • Electronic experience.

  • Physical calibration experience.

  • Experience with IndySoft calibration software.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use it to read procedures.

What Youll Do
  • Calibrate optical and electronic measuring equipment and signal-generating equipment to established standards.

  • Test calibrate adjust and maintain optical electromechanical mechanical pneumatic hydromechanical and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.

  • Set up calibration sequences methods and procedures according to detailed specifications and requirements.

  • Work from blueprints drawings and technical procedures.

  • Disassemble and clean test equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and replace defective components as needed.

  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other applicable control procedures.

Work Schedule / Shift
  • 1st shift.

  • Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM-4:30 PM.

Pay

$35.96 per hour.
