Job Summary
POSITION: Cafeteria Cashier/Helper
LOCATION: Milan Middle School
STARTING DATE: August 25 2026
Qualifications: Candidates should possess the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating a cash register and/or computer
- Ability to make change quickly and accurately
- Ability to work effectively with students and co-workers
- Willingness to complete a ServSafe instruction course
- Flexibility to assist with other kitchen duties as needed
Responsibilities:
- Transporting food service money documents and goods between kitchens
- Serving as cashier for students and staff during lunch periods
- Maintaining accurate cash accounting records
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Washing pots and pans and operating the dish machine
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the kitchen manager
Salary/Hours: Salary per contract agreement Hours Monday-Friday 9:30-1:00
