Job Summary

Job Overview:
Honda is seeking an experienced CAE Engineer L3 to support vehicle acoustic and NVH (Noise Vibration & Harshness) simulation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive CAE modeling acoustic analysis and vehicle-level testing to improve vehicle sound performance and reduce development risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-vehicle acoustic simulations for:

Horns
Buzzers
Audible warning systems
Interior and exterior sound behavior

Develop and validate CAE models (FEM/BEM) for:

Sound propagation
Directivity analysis
Sound Pressure Level (SPL) distribution
Vehicle acoustic performance optimization

Correlate simulation outputs with real-world vehicle testing data

Support model calibration validation and simulation improvements

Required Skills:

7 10 years of automotive NVH / Acoustic Simulation experience
Strong understanding of Vehicle Acoustics & NVH
Hands-on experience with FEM/BEM modeling
Vehicle-level testing and correlation experience
Experience with:
- ANSA
- Nastran
- HyperMesh
- LMS Lab
- MATLAB
- Python

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Acoustics
- Related Engineering field

Preferred Qualifications:

Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience
Experience with NV Director
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
