About the Role
Were looking for a detail-oriented CAD/Revit Designer to produce layout drawings shop drawings and BIM models for our commercial shelving and storage solutions. Youll work closely with sales project managers and installation teams to turn field measurements and client requirements into accurate production-ready drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D layout and floor plan drawings for shelving/storage installations using AutoCAD
- Build and maintain 3D models and Revit families for shelving systems including custom configurations
- Develop shop drawings elevations and installation details for fabrication and field crews
- Take or interpret field measurements and translate them into accurate as-built drawings
- Coordinate with internal sales and project management teams on space planning and layout revisions
- Maintain a library of standard shelving components templates and Revit families
- Redline and revise drawings based on client or engineering feedback
- Ensure drawings meet code requirements (fire egress ADA clearances load ratings etc.)
- Support quoting/estimating by producing accurate material takeoffs from layouts
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with AutoCAD; proficiency in Revit (including family creation)
- Experience with space planning layout design or millwork/casework drawings
- Strong understanding of dimensioning scale and construction drawing standards
- Ability to read architectural/construction drawings and site plans
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience in shelving storage warehouse racking retail fixtures or millwork industries
- Familiarity with SketchUp or 3D rendering software
