CADBIM Designer Revit MEP

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Process-Mechanical Revit Designer with knowledge and experience designing Process Mechanical piping in Revit to work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD/BIM Designers. This position will include the design and production of contract documents for various Water Wastewater and Pump Station facilities projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of Revit models Revit families and CAD base files for use in creating contract documents.
• Ability to design piping layouts in Revit to produce enlarged plans sections and details for various process mechanical systems
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Site Civil Structural Architectural HVAC Electrical and I&C) to help resolve design conflicts and challenges.
• Executing redlines from Engineers and senior CAD/BIM Designers
• Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards
• Ambition to learn communicate effectively and collaborate with other designers

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a technical school with CAD design certificate or A.S. degree with emphasis on Revit MEP preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience using Revit MEP and AutoCAD required.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for small to medium sized projects
• Some design experience with water and/or wastewater projects desired
• Basic understanding of process mechanical piping chemical piping and associated pipe materials and fittings for Water Wastewater and Pump Station facilities
