Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed survey drawings exhibits plats and maps from field data notes andsketches
• Process raw survey data using appropriate software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D) to produceaccurate base maps and deliverables.
• Maintain organized digital files adhering to company standards for layer managementnaming conventions and drafting quality.
• Collaborate closely with survey crews Team Leaders and Engineers to ensure designintent and survey data are accurately represented.
• Perform quality control checks on drawings to ensure accuracy completeness andcompliance with client or jurisdictional standards.
• Draft boundary topographic ALTA/NSPS Land Title construction and as-built surveys.
• Assist in creating 3D surface models contours and volume calculations for design andconstruction purposes.
• Review field notes deeds and legal descriptions to support boundary determinations.
• Support project setup by importing control points coordinates and alignments from fieldinstruments or GIS sources.
• Respond to redlines markups and revisions efficiently while maintaining drawingaccuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to integrate survey data into broader engineering orplanning projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety confidentiality and quality standards in all work products.
• Stay current on CAD standards software updates and best practices in land surveyingand drafting.

Requirements

• Proficiency in learning and utilizing technical platforms such as Google suite AutoCADMicroStation and Deltek.
• Some coursework or training in CAD drafting or a related field is preferred but notrequired.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in CAD drafting.
