About the Role
Since 1970 Great Floors has grown into a thriving organization with retail commercial and builder showrooms positioned across the Pacific Northwest. Great Floors is a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group. Artisan Design Group (ADG).
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Carpenter Cabinet Service Technician or Cabinet this role you will work to service and repair cabinets moldings trim and handle any touch-ups or adjustments needed on job sites.
This is a full-time in-person non-exempt position based in Nampa Idaho.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular job site visits and maintain strong builder relationships.
- Inspect completed cabinet installations and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform cabinet measurements adjustments repairs replacements and touch-ups.
- Identify and resolve installation and warranty issues.
- Coordinate replacement parts and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Communicate project status and outstanding issues with internal teams and customers.
- Deliver materials and provide field support as needed.
Education Experience & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cabinet industry including construction installation repair adjustment finish and staining.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Ability to present and articulate points clearly and effectively.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Must consistently meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive communication is essential in this role.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Excel Outlook Word.

Physical Requirements

- Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Frequently required to stand for extended periods and move throughout the warehouse or job site to access materials and equipment.
- Positioning: Regularly required to bend stoop kneel crouch and reach with hands and arms.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequently handles and moves materials using proper techniques and equipment.
- Vision: Ability to visually inspect materials and identify quality differences.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
- Job Site/Field: Frequent presence at active residential and commercial construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions dust noise and construction activities.
- Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments moving equipment elevated noise levels and warehouse operations.
- Travel: Frequent travel to customer locations job sites and company facilities.
- Operational Demands: Role may require managing multiple priorities meeting deadlines and responding to field-related issues.
- Safety: Requires adherence to company safety policies and procedures including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
