Performs a variety of Radiographic and Computed Tomography procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs related tasks as required. Is responsible for the professional and efficient daily operation of the Medical Imaging/CT Departments. What Youll Do: Performs all routine Radiographic procedures CT Exams and fluoroscopic procedures to include but not limited to: Pediatric adult trauma routine portables STAT and surgery exams. Assists Radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and recording information for physicians to dictate. Is responsible for quality assurance of all department equipment including tracking mechanical failures issuing service requests and ensuring equipment is in good condition for use. Monitors inventory and supplies and is proactive about ensuring appropriate supply levels. Assists Radiologist or medical staff with special diagnostic procedures while practicing safe operation of equipment. Verifies the existence and accuracy of exam requests and consents. Potential to cover in the Orthopedic clinic for half of the time. Who You Are: Detail oriented Friendly Collaborative team player Flexible Qualifications: California Registered Radiologic Technologist license required. California Registered Fluoroscopy permit required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. CT X-ray Fluoroscopy experience required.
