Overview
The Workfront Implementation Contractor will serve as a strategic and hands on partner supporting clients enterprise marketing and media operations. This role blends solution leadership platform configuration expertise and internal capability enablement to ensure Adobe Workfront is effectively designed optimized and scaled to support complex cross functional workflows.
This consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders product owners and technical partners to deliver best in class Workfront solutions that align with Client operational standards growth objectives and platform governance.
Core Contribution Areas
Solution Development (Development deliverables)
Work with a cross functional team of users to define shape and accelerate Workfront solutions across large scale implementations and transformation initiatives.
Serve as a product owner or support client side product owners ensuring alignment between business needs technical design and delivery outcomes.
Lead discovery sessions and translate business processes into scalable platform supported solutions.
Workfront design and Configuration (Configuration deliverables)
Apply Workfront design and configuration best practices to build test and deploy solutions across the platform.
Configure and optimize Workfront objects including:
Custom forms project templates programs portfolios
Assess existing implementations and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency usability and performance.
Internal Capability Enablement
Enable internal teams through knowledge sharing documentation training and service definition.
Support practice growth through best practice guidance enablement sessions and collaboration with Adobe partners.
Contribute to governance efforts to vet platform changes understand impacts and guide strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Configuration
Design configure and maintain Workfront environments including project templates workflows portfolios and custom forms.
Manage user access security teams groups and licenses in alignment with enterprise standards.
Maintain accurate design and configuration documentation.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for Workfront related issues.
Diagnose and resolve user system and configuration issues in a timely manner.
Coordinate acceptance testing and lead issue resolution through deployment.
Reporting & Analytics
Design and deliver reports dashboards and analytics to track KPIs resource utilization and project execution.
Provide actionable insights to support leadership decision making.
Training & Enablement
Deliver training sessions and develop documentation to promote adoption and best practices.
Support ongoing user education and onboarding efforts.
System Optimization
Monitor system performance and data integrity.
Recommend and implement enhancements upgrades and platform improvements.
Ensure alignment with Workfront supported features and Adobe roadmap guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Proven experience configuring administering and supporting Adobe Workfront.
Experience with Workfront Planning Ultimate is required.
Strong understanding of enterprise workflow design and system integration principles.
Process & Analytical Skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical configurations.
Strong analytical skills including workflow analysis and data reporting.
Consultative & Communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
Ability to lead discovery sessions and communicate technical concepts to non technical audiences.
Comfortable operating in a consultative client facing environment.
Work Style
Hands on delivery role supporting new implementations optimization efforts administration and training.
Works collaboratively with internal teams partners and stakeholders in a fast paced enterprise environment.
