The Butcher Block Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Butcher Block and service meat counter ensuring exceptional customer service food safety compliance product quality and operational efficiency. This role leads associates in the preparation merchandising and sale of fresh meat and seafood products while supporting sales growth inventory management and department profitability. The Butcher Block Supervisor serves as a subject matter expert in meat cutting product knowledge and service counter operations.

• Oversee daily Butcher Block operations ensuring product availability quality and presentation standards are maintained.
• Supervise the preparation cutting packaging and merchandising of fresh meat products.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper replenishment of service case and sales floor displays.
• Maintain department organization cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Ensure adherence to company merchandising and service standards.

• Supervise and support Butcher Block associates and Meat Department team members.

• Ensure attractive and effective product displays that drive sales.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies food safety regulations sanitation standards and health department requirements.
• Maintain proper product handling labeling storage and temperature controls.
