THE OPPORTUNITY

Michelin has an immediate opening for a Business Support Controller who assists the Business Partner Controller in financial activities for the manufacturing operations. The Business Support Controller is responsible for costing month-end reporting and analysis and monitoring policies and procedures. WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Support month-end close activities including inventory accruals variance capitalization standard accrual entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and update standard costs including new part costing monthly cost updates variance reconciliations forecasts and annual standard cost setting.
• Partner with plant engineering to review and update routings and bills of materials as needed.
• Forecast raw material purchase price costs and analyze purchase price variances freight tariffs and utilities.
• Prepare recurring reports including weekly sales and open orders annual census reporting quarterly utilization and capacity surveys and other financial analyses as assigned.
• Support external audits and internal control reviews by gathering information completing analysis and helping ensure compliance with company procedures.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field required.
• 12 years of experience as a cost analyst financial analyst accountant or similar role.
• Previous costing experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated teamwork and efficiency with multitasking prioritization and attention to detail.
