About the Position
The Business Operations Manager oversees utility billing customer service contract administration and administrative operations while leading a team of customer service billing and administrative professionals.
The ideal candidate will be an attentive listener engaging effectively with their team colleagues and customers alike. The Business Operations Manager should be comfortable managing a diverse range of responsibilities while demonstrating strong time management and leadership skills. A keen eye for detail a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to advancing ACWWAs Mission and Vision are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the utility billing and accounts receivable processes.
- Preparing operational and financial metrics reports and data summary for leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for ACWWAs Customer Information System (CUZI)
- Managing customer communications and public notifications
- Overseeing contract administration and office operations
- Supervising coaching and developing staff
What Were Looking For
Were looking for a collaborative leader with strong analytical organizational and customer service skills. Experience in utility billing business operations financial reporting and employee supervision is highly desirable. Public utility experience is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Five (5) years of relevant professional experience
- Supervisory experience preferred

Hiring Range: $90000-$120000
The pay range for this position is listed above. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for this addition ACWWA considers several other factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities the candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
