BUSINESS MANAGER MIT Press to ensure the financial health and operational excellence of our organization; oversee critical accounting and financial operations maintain rigorous compliance standards and provide strategic financial analysis that supports organizational decision-making; and lead accounting functions while mentoring team members driving process improvements and ensuring accuracy across all financial activities.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelors degree; a minimum of four years of experience in financial operations accounting and account reconciliation; strong written and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities; demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information; ability to thrive in a fast-paced mission-driven environment; and collaborative approach with eagerness to learn organizational systems and operations. PREFERRED: Experience in finance accounting publishing and/or higher education; proficiency with financial and/or publishing systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle Biblio Office); and experience managing or leading others.
