Business Intelligence Engineer, North America Transportation Services

NATS Transportation Planning team is looking for a customer-focused detail-oriented experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to provide recommendations on how to improve customer delivery performance leveraging a toolkit of numerical methods and modeling. As a BIE you will be responsible for defining and executing reports to drive operational excellence exceed our customers expectations and achieve performance partnership with Program Managers BIEs will expose gaps in our supply chain that leave us vulnerable to customer facing defects.

Additionally you will provide insights into operational issues analyze the root cause and provide recommendations for improvements. Role will require data analysis understanding of the systems workflow cross-functional communication and issues management. The role is responsible for effectively communicating with senior management as well as with colleagues from operations and business backgrounds.

This role is inherently cross-functionalthis leader will work closely with data scientists software engineers program management design operations finance legal business development customer service and executive teams to create dashboards and bring products to production across the different Amazon transportation teams. A successful candidate will be highly analytical resourceful customer-focused team oriented and will have an ability to work autonomously under time constraints to meet deadlines. The leader will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. - 5 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
- 5 years of processing large multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in advanced SQL & ability to write complex queries from scratch from multiple tables
- Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R Python Ruby etc.
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
- Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity with the ability to craft effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in a professional setting

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
