Job Summary
This position is accountable for managing a profile of the Business Development for Manufacturing and Processing customers in order to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the Protective & Marine Division.
Additional Information:
This position is a field position and will be expected to travel at least 50% of the time in the Eastern Division - West Territory (covering around PittsburghPA Charleston & Morgantown WV and Roanoke & Norfold VA) .
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Responsibilities
This position is accountable for managing a profile of Business Development for Manufacturing and Processing customers in order to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the Protective & Marine Division. Position will serve as the single point of contact and will manage Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing - based customer relationships coordinate pricing across geography/span of control. Ultimately the goal of this position is to make major inroads to specific Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing -based related customers and provide for Protective and Marine Coating needs in all of those various facilities/locations.
- This position will work with specified sale representative teams within stated geography to ensure that specific Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing locations receive the same level of service program offerings. The Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing must be able to effectively utilize resources marketing technical and work with decision making facility individuals to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. This person will also work with Product Marketing to create awareness of new products to serve customer needs.
- Will manage a territory that will vary based on Sales Manager input and aligned with current Manufacturing and Processing Reps within that region.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g. OPT CPT H1B EB-1etc.)
- Must have a valid unrestricted drivers license.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be willing to travel as required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a bachelors degree or higher
Have two (2) years of experience in business-to-business sales in coating industry
