Primary focus is to develop relationships with prospects to increase overall level of business. The SBA Business Development Officer is able to operate with a minimum of direction is able to develop a portfolio of new business relationships and manages a loan portfolio in metro Duties & Responsibilities:Generate viable SBA 7(a) loan opportunities via external direct and indirect marketing channels and meet annual loan volume and pricing loan workflow financial analysis and closing 7(a) loan eligibility under SBA SOP and general prudent lending to prepare and deliver accurate loan applications and loan prescreen pipeline report and attend weekly pipeline meeting attended by the senior leadership team including the President Sales Manager Chief Credit Officer Credit Administrator Operation Manager and Closing/Documentation with Credit and Closing teams to efficiently process all loan requests are compliant to the policies and procedures of Crossroads Small Business Solutions and new and existing 3rd party loan agents and ensure the agents meet Crossroads Small Business Solutions and SBA Qualifications: 3 years of SBA lending experience with US based bank or non-bank lending degree preferred or equivalent to understand financial/credit policies financial statements and structure credit facilities of targetsAbility to maintain efficient workflowProfessional speaking and presentation skillsFull understanding and knowledge of SBA eligibility and guidelinesAbility to identify and mitigate credit risksAbility to analyze and interpret financial statements business reports and legal documentsGood judgment and problem-solving skillsProficient business writing skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening physical examination and background checkCompensation: Base Salary: $80000-$120000/year (based on experience and qualifications)Plus Bonus Incentive Benefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers:Fantastic Culture401k matchHealth Dental & Vision Insurance HSA & FSAEmployer paid Life InsurancePaid Vacation DaysSick LeaveCompany perks such as employee discounts company events and training programsExcellent Training and Career Advancement OpportunitiesVelocity Vehicle Group is an equal opportunity employer.
