As a Business Development Associate you will work closely with our analysts and traders in identifying contacting and understanding the risks of a particular industry and business. This opportunity offers an introduction to prediction markets swaps and insurance solutions within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You will quickly gain valuable experience as you develop conversational skills network with industry leaders and evaluate risks.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Performing thesis-based market research and industry analysis
  • Evaluation of conferences for potential attendance
  • Attending conferences to represent Rivers Edge
  • Executing weekly monthly and quarterly outbound expectations
  • Constructing presentation materials
  • Managing the integrity of our company/contact database
What were looking for
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a business development role
  • Comfortable cold calling and finding creative ways to access the C-suite of a company
  • Basic understanding of the financial metrics associated with our target markets
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to aggressively market the firm during phone calls and in-person meetings with potential targets
  • Superior work ethic strong desire to learn and uncompromising attention to detail
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with the confidence and capability to act autonomously
  • Excellent analytical research and organizational skills
  • Self-starter or demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Superb critical thinking ability and demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Impressive academic record
