Business Analyst Intern Summer 2027

The Opportunity:
We are thrilled to announce the availability of dynamic and paid Internship positions as Systems/Business Analyst within our NASA Consolidated Applications Platforms Services (NCAPS) contract.

As a Systems/BA Analyst Intern at CACI you will have the unique chance to immerse yourself in a stimulating environment working alongside industry experts and contributing to cutting-edge projects that directly support NASAs mission.

Our internship program is designed to provide you with invaluable hands-on experience allowing you to develop and refine your analytical skills while making a tangible impact on real-world applications.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with two days in office and 3 days remote.

Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Documenting business and systems requirements for new or updated processes.

Data Management: Analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to generate insights and support decision-making.

Process Improvement: Recommending and helping to design new or improved business processes and systems.

Reporting & Documentation: Creating technical reports presentations and other documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders. Assisting with project planning tracking and implementation often in an agile or scrum


Qualifications:

Required:

Education: Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration Economics Information Technology Computer Science or Finance.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving structured thinking and the ability to connect information across various problem statements.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to different audiences.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools or software.

Data Skills: Ability to write SQL queries understand physical and logical data models and analyze data from databases.

Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail good organizational and time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
