Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Transport residents throughout covered service area (Blacksburg & Christiansburg).
- Provide assistance required to safely board residents and caregivers with limited mobility including wheelchairs.
- Must be reliable and capable of working independently excellent time management skills
- 16 hours per par period as a PRN status
- Working evenings/weekends
Education and Experience:
- Must hold a currently valid drivers license and have an excellent driving record.
- Previous passenger transport experience NOT required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift push pull and bend with full range of body motion to perform considerable reaching stooping and bending.
- Hearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with passengers.
- Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
