REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Under direction of assigned supervisor/administrator ride a school bus or other transportation vehicle to provide safe and secure transportation for students with physical medical educational and emotional difficulties; assist drivers in the loading unloading and securing of students with disabilities; and performs related work as assigned. Employees in this classification work both indoors and outdoors and in changing weather conditions in direct contact with students the public and other District staff members with minimum guidance from supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities of the classification; typically one year experience working with students with physical medical educational and/or emotional disabilities; and completion of formal or informal education sufficient to graduation from high school. Must pass a test demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading writing and mathematics. Evidence of high school graduation and/or transcripts required and must be presented along with may apply on . District applicant must submit an Interest Form and/or application. Any employee who has not updated his/her application or resume during the last year is required to do so.
