Job Summary
**Position includes assisting Special Needs students**
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Student Safety & Supervision: Monitor student behavior enforce rules and maintain an orderly environment during transit.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist passengers boarding and exiting the vehicle including operating wheelchair lifts ramps and securement systems.
- Adaptive Equipment: Properly fasten 5 Point harnesses Safety Vests and wheelchair tie-downs according to specific safety protocols.
- Medical & Emergency Support: Respond to behavioral changes medical episodes (such as seizures) or emergencies and assist with bus evacuation procedures as outlined by guidelines.
- Communication: Coordinate with bus drivers parents transportation and school staff regarding student needs or behavioral incidents.
- Recordkeeping: Complete daily medicaid sheets seating charts and incident reports
