Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to properly clean all lobbiesoffices restrooms mailrooms print shops hallways stairways elevators in each building of the Annapolis State Office Complex assigned to stateemployees.
POSITION DUTIES
Dutiesinclude but are not limited to:
-Dusting all offices lobbies and hallways.
-Removing trash and vacuuming floor areas.
-Stripping and waxing tiled floors as needed.
-Buffing spray tile at scheduled intervals.
-Wiping down outer areas and cleaning mirrors.
-Refilling supplies and thoroughly scouring sinks.
-Sweeping and wet-mopping floors with disinfectants.
- Sweeping and wet-mopping all floor areas and stairwells.
- Shampooing carpets throughout the building twice a year.
- Scrubbing toilets and urinal bowls with disinfectants.
-Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms daily ensuring they are stocked with soapand paper products.

Education: None.

LICENSES REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Employees in this classification may be subject to call-in 24 hours a day and therefore may be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.
