Building Services Manager

Wittenberg Village in Crown Point is hiring a Building Services Manager $60000$65000 a year commensurate with experience. Full-time day hours with on-call rotation.

As Building Services Manager youll oversee maintenance environmental services and security staff keeping the community safe functional and welcoming for residents and staff alike.

What youll do

• Oversee daily building operations across maintenance security and environmental services
• Manage team schedules training performance evaluations and recruitment
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and applicable codes (NFPA IDPH)
• Coordinate maintenance requests repairs inspections and preventative care
• Chair the Safety Committee and collaborate across departments
• Serve as the liaison for contractors and oversee facility projects
• Participate in on-call rotation and step in for routine maintenance when needed

What youll need

Required:

• 2 years of technical or trade school training or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of CMS-recognized NFPA 101 Life Safety Code
• Strong familiarity with hand and power tools
• At least 18 years old

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree
• Experience in a healthcare environment

Schedule
Full-time day hours with on-call rotation as needed.
