Building Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain entire warehouse building both inside and outside in a safe productive and efficient manner.
• Repairing fabricating and welding of racks dock plates dock doors and overall building.
• Repair dock lights lights and other electric appliances.
• Respond to fire alarms.
• Repair plumbing and sprinkler systems handle testing contractor safety PPM readings calibration of instruments PC controls on computer that monitors refrigeration systems PMC 2000 software system computer skills MS applications.
• Work closely with others in the department and share responsibility in solving problems coordinating work activities and repairing equipment. Be a positive team-oriented associate and have good follow through.
• Effectively interact and work with manager to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work various days and times based on the needs of the business.
• Clean up work area and tools between job assignments.
• Must have experience in residential remodeling plumbing electrical welding garage door repair and low voltage security systems/cameras.

• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment.
• Repairs damage to industrial equipment when it occurs.
• Assists in developing and editing the tasks required to develop and update preventive maintenance procedures.
• Documents the use of man-hours and any supplies or parts used.
• May be called upon to help with other maintenance activities including building maintenance and refrigeration maintenance.
• Work a flexible schedule.
