Building Maintenance Tech

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a dependable hands-on individual who takes pride in keeping a facility safe organized and operating at its best. This position is responsible for a variety of general building property and equipment maintenance needs. Automotive experience is not required.

• Perform light HVAC repairs and routine filter maintenance
• Maintain dealership buildings and grounds
• Perform parking lot maintenance including pavement and parking-space marking
• Complete minor plumbing and drain repairs
• Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance
• Identify facility issues and assist with repairs before they become larger problems
• Maintain workshop maintenance and storage areas in a clean and organized condition
• Assist with snow removal salting and other winter weather responsibilities
• Perform other general facility maintenance duties as needed

• At least 1 year of experience in facility maintenance building maintenance construction property maintenance or a related field preferred
• Strong general handyman and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties associated with facility maintenance
• Dependable organized and willing to respond to changing facility needs
• No automotive repair experience required
