O&G Industries Inc. an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington CT seeks experienced Building Construction Superintendents to join our growing team. For more than 100 years O&G has delivered some of Connecticuts most significant construction projects including K-12 schools higher education facilities municipal buildings healthcare campuses and commercial developments.

As a recognized leader in educational construction O&G partners with communities across the state to build and renovate schools that serve future generations. We are looking for field leaders who take pride in delivering high-quality work maintaining safe jobsites and driving projects to successful completion.

What Youll Do:

• Lead and manage daily field operations on assigned construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors materials and equipment to maintain schedule and productivity
• Ensure work meets quality standards contract documents and project specifications
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
• Maintain clean organized and efficient job sites
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and project teams to achieve on-time on-budget delivery
• Implement Lean construction practices to improve efficiency and workflow

What Were Looking For:

• 37 years of building construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of construction drawings specifications contract documents and field operations
• Knowledge of construction scheduling planning and cost control
• Ability to manage crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
• A demonstrated commitment to safety (OSHA 10 required OSHA 30 preferred)

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100000 - $160000 based on qualifications and experience. O&G offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental 401 K earned time off paid holidays and other company-sponsored benefits subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
