Building Automation Project Manager

Location: Westmont IL Chicago Western Suburbs
Compensation: $100000$130000 Base Salary 15% Bonus (Maximum Total Compensation: $150000)

A rapidly growing Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator is seeking an experienced Building Automation Project Manager to oversee commercial building automation and HVAC controls projects throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing building automation controls projects coordinating field technicians and subcontractors overseeing budgets and schedules and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Manage building automation and HVAC controls projects from initiation through completion.
• Oversee project budgets scheduling forecasting and resource allocation.
• Coordinate field technicians subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress financial performance and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule within budget and according to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering installation programming and commissioning teams.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation schedules and financial reports.
• Support successful project closeout and customer satisfaction.

• Minimum 2 years of Building Automation Controls Project Management experience.
• Direct experience managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) Direct Digital Controls (DDC) or HVAC controls projects.
• Strong understanding of building automation systems controls integration and commercial HVAC applications.
• Experience managing project budgets schedules technicians and subcontractors.
• Strong client communication leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Ability to work in the Westmont IL office 12 days per week.

• Experience with Johnson Controls Siemens Honeywell Schneider Electric Automated Logic Tridium or similar BAS platforms.
• Familiarity with BACnet LonWorks Niagara and DDC controls.
• Experience managing building automation projects in commercial healthcare educational industrial or data center environments.
• Background in mechanical systems HVAC controls or building automation engineering.

• Base Salary: $100000$130000 annually.
