BSW Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a BSW Project Manager - Remote position with a Major Telecommunications Company located in Charlotte NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role will support the optimization of buried service wire-based functions. The ideal candidate will advocate for and collaborate with buried service wire contractors to maximize operational efficiency and drive an exponential increase in buried service wire installations and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Support optimization of our buried service wire-based functions advocating for and collaborating with the buried service wire contractors to maximize operational efficiency
• Support 1-4 BSW contractors and buried drop tickets across multiple states
• Work in concert with contractors and field personnel to drive an increase in buried service wire installations
• Serve as the point of contact for customer BSW escalations (Jeopardy Management)
• Conduct regular meetings with drop vendors to drive percentage of drops placed before the due date
• Escalate unresolved issues when needed
• Coordinate activities track progress and follow through on issues to resolution
• Identify potential barriers early and proactively address them
• Manage multiple permits and priorities simultaneously

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical work experience
• Customer-centric mindset
• Ability to prioritize organize and accomplish a broad range of initiatives within pressured timeframes
• Ability to effectively implement processes where necessary for successful program delivery
• Apply expert functional and critical thinking skills to resolve business challenges
• Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must have
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented

Desired skills:

• 25 years of telecom construction engineering permitting or project coordination experience
• Knowledge of fiber network builds aerial/underground construction and buried service wire processes
• Experience managing vendors or holding partners accountable to deadlines and quality expectations
• Familiarity with IQGeo GIS systems or utility application systems

Pay range: $16.40 - $26.40 per hour
