Maersk Logistics & Services USA Inc. handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving storing processing and dispatching cargo so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive experience connections and deep expertise across different sectors industries and transportation modes means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.

Summary

This is a high-paced career opportunity that requires a high-level commitment to detail and customer service. Being Maersk we have freight that needs to move to the final-mile destination so with that we are looking for candidates to come through a robust training program that will give you the skill set tools and knowledge on how to be a freight broker in Supply Chain Management.

• Develop and maintain Carrier relations and act as liaison for TL sales manager

• Research and resolve issues regarding freight and billing issues related to shipments

• Daily communication with customers and vendors

• Track & trace shipments daily

• Schedule pick-up &delivery appointments

• Manage 3 to 5 million dollars in revenue per year

• No Industry experience required

Requirements

No experience is necessary. We are going to provide the training needed to be a successful freight broker. We are looking for motivated people seeking a career in Supply Chain Management who can adapt to changes be a team player learn quickly and be an instant contributor to the success of the company and client. Computer skills and communication skills are the driving factors for the job requirements.

• Proven communication skills are a must (written and verbal)

• Knowledge of TL transportation terms

• Verifiable customer service experience and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors

• Computer experience: Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel) ability to learn proprietary software & navigate multiple programs

• Must be able to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment

• Highly motivated

Pay Range:

$55000.00 annual incentive!

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
