Bridge Program Site Leader at Intervention & Supplemental Programs
Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION:Oversee the care instruction attendance-keeping and implementation of the Bridge Program at a school site; perform an array of duties during and after school with the goal of providing a safe and constructive environment for students participating in the District Bridge Program. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:KNOWLEDGE OF:Basic aspects of the physical and emotional care of childrenIndoor and outdoor recreational and educational activities for school-aged childrenProper English usage grammar vocabulary spelling and punctuationPositive behavior management techniques and discipline of childrenEffective clerical and record-keeping practices and proceduresBasic computer skills including email attendance tracking and word processingABILITY TO: Effectively organize and oversee a school site after-school programDemonstrate an understanding patient respectful and receptive attitude toward students of all agesEstablish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with children and adultsEffectively supervise and care for children with varying degrees of development and needs in various activities Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of actionUnderstand and follow oral and written instructionsMaintain confidentiality in all matters related to studentsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma and increasingly responsible experience working with school aged children in an organized setting.
