Branch Office Manager Vice President (Kyle)

Schaumburg & Polk Inc. (SPI) is seeking an experienced civil engineering leader and proven Project Manager to lead our Kyle office. This is an opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong track record in civil engineering project delivery client relationships business development and team leadership to step into an executive leadership role and help shape the growth and success of a growing branch.

For the right leader this is an opportunity to take ownership of the Kyle office while working closely with SPIs executive leadership team to grow the business develop professionals and build a strong local presence.

• Lead the overall civil engineeringoperations project delivery performance and growth of the Kyle office
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and technical staff
• Oversee project delivery financial performance utilization and quality
• Build and strengthen client relationships and business development opportunities
• Develop and grow the engineering team including recruiting mentoring professional development and succession planning
• Collaborate with SPIs executive leadership and other offices to support firm-wide growth
• Represent SPI with clients consultants and the community

• 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience
• Proven success as a Project Manager delivering profitable high-quality projects
• Experience leading teams and developing other professionals
• Strong project financial management and business development skills
• Excellent communication leadership and decision-making abilities
• A desire to build a team grow a business and make an impact

As the leader of SPIs Kyle office youll have the autonomy and support to shape engineering projects client relationships professional development and business growth while working alongside SPIs executive leadership team.

• 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven success as a Civil Engineering Project Manager delivering projects on time within budget and profitably
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing professional staff
• Strong understanding of project financial management resource planning and quality control
• Proven business development and client relationship management experience
• Strong leadership communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance project delivery client service business development and overall office performance
