As a Branch Manager at Visions Federal Credit Union youll lead a talented branch team support employee growth strengthen member relationships and help drive the success of the branch. This role is ideal for a collaborative service-minded leader who enjoys coaching others solving problems and creating a positive experience for both employees and members.
Position Title: Branch Manager - Syracuse NY
Position Type: Monday - Friday 2 Saturdays per month.
Compensation Range: $65000/yr. - $77000/yr.*Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors including years of directly related work experience education geographic location or special skills*
Location: Position is on-site at our Syracuse Branch located at 500 Erie Boulevard West Syracuse NY
- Lead coach and inspire a high-performing branch team focused on service growth and operational excellence.
- Create a positive inclusive team environment where employees feel supported empowered and accountable.
- Champion an outstanding member experience by modeling professionalism service excellence and relationship-building.
- Oversee daily branch operations while maintaining strong compliance accuracy confidentiality and internal controls.
- Build relationships in the community and support outreach efforts that strengthen Visions local presence.
- Use performance insights to guide priorities support team success and adapt to changing member and business needs.
- Maintain required licensing and certifications including NMLS registration Notary Public license and Medallion Signature Guarantee certification as applicable.
- Contribute to department and organizational goals by staying flexible engaged and aligned with Visions mission and values.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 13 years of relevant experience or 46 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Experience leading coaching motivating or developing a team.
- Strong communication relationship-building organization and time management skills.
- A passion for creating excellent member experiences and supporting a welcoming team culture.
- The ability to adapt prioritize and make sound decisions in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
- A willingness to learn branch systems processes policies and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous financial industry experience.
