Our Branch Managers are responsible for leading branch operations developing team performance fostering a culture of accountability and delivering exceptional customer experiences that support NASBs commitment to personal and relationship banking.

- Leading a strong branch team and fostering a positive accountable and customer-focused culture aligned with NASB values.
- Delivering a consistent high-quality customer experience by ensuring team members take ownership of customer relationships from start to finish.
- Hiring coaching developing and retaining Universal Bankers and Assistant Managers to build a highly engaged and high-performing team.
- Providing ongoing feedback guidance and development opportunities to strengthen individual and team performance.
- Setting clear expectations and driving branch performance through consistent execution of the service model meaningful customer conversations and relationship-based solutions.
- Monitoring branch performance and identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing daily branch operations including transaction accuracy workflow management staffing scheduling and productivity.
- Maintaining compliance with all policies procedures and regulatory requirements including the Banks Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance program.
- Ensuring operational integrity through effective oversight of security procedures cash controls audits and risk management practices.
- Managing branch resources and budget responsibly while identifying opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience.
- Representing NASB within the community and supporting local outreach and engagement efforts.
- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- Five or more years of banking or financial services experience required.
- Previous leadership and people management experience required.
- Demonstrated success leading coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- A strong commitment to customer service relationship building and creating exceptional customer experiences.
- The ability to balance people leadership with operational oversight and business performance objectives.
- Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgment decision-making ability and a high level of accountability and professionalism.
- A thorough understanding of retail banking products deposit accounts and financial services.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications and core banking systems.
- Strong cash-handling skills including the ability to accurately identify currency denominations.
- Ability to work branch hours Monday through Friday with alternate Saturday mornings.
- Ability to travel occasionally between branch locations as needed.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to remain stationary (sitting or standing) and conduct computer work for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in person over the phone and through electronic channels.
- Credit and background checks will be required.
